Media Intern Responsibilities

The Media Intern should be comfortable in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and collaboration with various members of our team. He/She must be able to follow a results-focused schedule and have impeccable attention to detail. This is a supportive role where many of the inner-workings of the job are taught to the applicant. The individual will receive ample client exposure with vendors and meetings, master accomplishing multiple tasks at once, and conduct independent research. The individual will work closely with our Media Director for support and direction. Manage vendor/community relationships

  • Keep current list of reps with up to date contact info

 

 Media Buying/Planning Process

  • Provide research and support to media team as needed
  • Input OOH, Digital and Programmatic buys into Advantage
  • Send orders to vendors and traffic manager
  • Provide asset list to traffic manager for all negotiated and placed media
  • Receive signed confirmations/follow-up

 

Media Maintenance

  • Maintenance of schedules (makegoods, revisions)
  • Reconcile all invoices
  • Review all invoices for accuracy whether or not discrepant
  • Prepare quarterly recaps for all clients
  • Manage post buy process for all clients

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Driven and results focused
  • Attention to detail while working quickly and precisely
  • A multitasker who juggles multiple projects at once on a tight deadline
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
