City of Richardson’s Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival
Highlighting The Barber Shop’s work with the City of Richardson for the 2024 Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival
This festival season, the City of Richardson was looking for a new creative concept to accompany the national branding of the Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival for 2024. As with any annual festival, TBS understands that every year, while consistent in some aspects of branding, needs to have its own brand kit.
Annual festivals present an exciting challenge for our creative team to expand upon previous years’ branding to create a new subset of creative assets. The City of Richardson had a creative vision for hand-drawn artwork as the focal point of this year’s brand to emphasize its intended festival look and feel. Artwork was of particular significance as these pieces would be used for a variety of assets throughout the branding process.
Our team worked internally and with the city to develop and refine hand-drawn artwork that reflected the unique feel of the 2024 Wildflower! Festival. Through this open collaboration and feedback loop, we were able to fine-tune all creative assets and develop a brand kit that encapsulated the vision for this year’s festival. This included all hand-drawn artwork to be used throughout the festival branding from print ads, digital campaigns, local publication digital and print ads, billboards, and hyperlocal publication ads.
This resulted in success across the board for Wildflower! With record-breaking attendance and the highest levels of engagement, the festival was an exciting way to celebrate the North Texas community through arts and music!
